A preset is a saved job you can run again. Save one when you find a setup that works, and next time it’s one click, one API call, or the source of a monitor. There are two kinds:
  • Template presets keep a template with its inputs and the columns you chose, such as Google Maps leads for dentists in Lekki and Ikeja.
  • Tool presets keep a Scrape, Crawl, Map, Search or Parse setup (and, over the API, a batch scrape): the URLs, instruction, schema, options and everything else on the form.

Save a preset

  • On a template page, fill in the form and press Save as preset.
  • On Scrape, Crawl, Map, Search or Parse, set up the form and press Save as preset.
Cookies are never saved in a preset, so a preset never keeps a login.

Use your presets

The Presets page lists them with what each one runs.
  • Run runs it straight away. Tool runs show in Logs.
  • Open (or Open in template) fills the form with the preset, so you can change something before running. A template preset shows its saved columns before you run, and Update preset saves your changes to it (or Save as new keeps both).
  • Watch for changes turns it into a monitor.
  • Rename and Delete are in the same menu.

Presets over the API

Every preset can be created, run and managed with your API key.
See Create a Preset and Run a Preset.

What it costs

Saving a preset is free. Running one costs what the same job costs when you run it directly.
