# Usage

> See your credits and proxy bandwidth, and a daily chart of what you spent on each tool, from the Usage page or the API.

The [Usage page](https://app.spidra.io/dashboard/usage) shows where your credits are going, so you can catch a spike early and decide when you need a [top-up](https://docs.spidra.io/billing/top-ups.md) or a bigger [plan](https://docs.spidra.io/billing/plans.md).

## Your balances

The **Balances** card at the top shows two meters:

* **Credits:** how many you have used this billing cycle out of everything available to you, which is your plan's credits plus any [top-up](https://docs.spidra.io/billing/top-ups.md) credits. `1240/6200` means 1,240 used out of 5,000 plan credits plus a 1,200 credit top-up.
* **Proxy bandwidth:** the same, for the allowance [Stealth Mode](https://docs.spidra.io/options/proxies-and-captchas.md) uses.

A small **Credit Usage** meter is also always visible at the bottom of the dashboard sidebar. Use **Manage plan** to jump to the [Billing page](https://app.spidra.io/dashboard/billing).

## The usage chart

The chart is a stacked bar of credits per day, split by where they went:

| Source | What it covers |
| :- | :- |
| **Scrape** | Scrape and batch jobs |
| **Crawl** | Crawl jobs |
| **Search** | Searches, including any page content fetched for results |
| **Parse** | Parsed documents |
| **Map** | Maps |

Choose a range above the chart:

| Range | What it shows |
| :- | :- |
| **1 day** | Usage for today |
| **7 days** | Daily usage for the past 7 days |
| **30 days** | Daily usage for the past 30 days |
| **Custom** | Your own start and end date, up to 90 days apart |

Hover a bar to see the exact credits for each source on that day, or switch to **Table** for the numbers. To see what a single job cost, open it in your [logs](https://docs.spidra.io/dashboard/logs.md), where every job lists its credits. ## Read your usage from code

Everything on this page is available from the API:

* [`GET /account`](https://docs.spidra.io/api-reference/account/account) returns your plan, remaining credits and remaining proxy bandwidth. Call it before a large batch or crawl.
* [`GET /usage-stats`](https://docs.spidra.io/api-reference/account/usage-stats) returns credits, tokens, requests, crawls and CAPTCHA solves per day or per week.
* [`GET /usage-stats/breakdown`](https://docs.spidra.io/api-reference/account/usage-breakdown) returns credits per day split by tool, as in the chart.
